Come celebrate Rowdy Ruth's suprise birthday at her favorite restaraunt, Waffleworks, in Geneva, NY. She has no clue this is going to happen! She also has recently hit the huge milestone of 10 finds. Hey, it took her almost a year to get there, so it's a big number for her! The date is Saturday Sept. 3rd. This event will go from 4:30 pm TO 8:00 pm, as 8:30 is her bedtime. Don't miss your chance to meet NY's wackiest mother and grandmother. In the Southern Tier she is quite popular. Waffleworks has very good food, and not just breakfast. We will provide a geo birthday cake but dinner is on yourselves. Plan on having dinner with us. If so desired, bring a small gag gift for the rowdy one (she likes traffic cones). Make it something cheap that will embarrass her, but nothing inappropriate for a non drinking, straight laced, church going lady.
Don't worry, you wont have to meet our strange relatives at this event. This is stricktly a geocachers only gathering and is just being called a birthday bash. There will be event caches, geo bingo and a small award/ceremony that will be presented to Rowdy Ruth for her 10th find. A unique game, "guess the age of the cacher", will also be played. Much like the "how many jelly beans are in the jar" game this will entail guessing just how old Rowdy Ruth is (yes, we have permission from her to do this, though she thinks it'll be happening at another function). Trust me, you'll all be guessing low! You'll also have a chance to provide input in a top secret NY geocaching project that has just begun. Hint: it's round. 
As per usual event standards, there will also be a travel bug exchange. We hope to see you there.
