Spenard Triple Fun Night (Sat 7/30) Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

NorthWes: Five nights have passed since we tripled our fun in Spenard... how time flies! I trust all participants have had ample time to log the various goodies, so I'm archiving this event cache. Thanks to Team Alamo & DTW21/Fisherwoman for their help... hope we exceeded their expectations for fun! When & Where's the next gathering going to be??? Whittier's a lovely place, just before the snow flies...

Cool prizes will be awarded… including that obligatory Spenard favorite - SPAM!

Visiting geocachers Team Alamo and DavidT21 & Fisherwoman want to meet local cachers, swap TBs, and hear about terrific area caches to hunt. For example, I’m sure they’d love to travel through the world’s longest train/car tunnel to cache Whittier - the Gateway to Prince William Sound… just check out the photos on the FTF log for the new Horsetail Falls Cache, and you'll be heading to Whittier too! Prepare to have fun chatting with two of the game’s most delightful and experienced teams… Team Alamo's ranked #2 in finds, while DavidT21 & Fisherwoman just went over 5,000 finds in June!

We’ll finish up with a dutch date at that fabulous Spenard culinary landmark -
Gwennie’s Old Alaska Restaurant. There are 24 spaces reserved for dinner at 7pm - reply early if you want to guarantee a place at a table. Gwennie’s is on Spenard Road (of course), at
N61 10.912 W149 55.972, across from the Harley dealer, along the shores of Fish Creek.

See you in Spenard!
