First and foremost we would like to thank BA Parks for allowing us to continue to place caches in our local parks. Therefore, we request that you stay out of the flowers, off of the statues, and obey all posted park rules...especially the curfew of 11pm-5am!
It has been a few months since we placed a cache so we decided to put one together using a former cache container and some extra items we had laying around the house.
While we didn't see any ticks, chiggers, or snakes while placing the cache...don't rule out the possibility that you might run across one or two. We do know for sure that there are a billion and one spiders in the area!
It will probably be pretty yucky after rainfall (if ever it comes again). So plan accordingly.
There is some PI in the area. Lots of stick-tites too! We definitely do not recommend flip flops and short-shorts for hunting this cache!
The cache will be easier to access if you locate the trail. Well, it is almost a trail and we have it on good authority that it will be a real trail soon! You in no way have to tread on the sports fields!!
*****Please remember that your GPSr may not zero out in the exact same spot as the coordinates. Take into account the margin of error in accuracy. There is more to finding a cache than walking until your receiver says zero feet!*****
