Adapted from K2Dave's Nassau/Suffolk Cache Multi. I have updated
this so that it is no longer a multi.
The trail is part of the Nassau Suffolk Greenbelt trail which
heads into Cold Spring Harbor to the North and the Massapequa
Preserve to the south. While walking along this path I saw a few
rabbits, squirrels, birds of all kinds. I saw Raspberry plants,
maple saplings, plants and trees of every type.
There are slight elevation changes but they were no problem for
my 3-1/2 year old son although there are places where the
vegetation is heavy on the trails and I kept my eye out for Poison
Ivy which you will find along the trail.
There is a trail for Bikes and a trail for hikes
