This should be an easy find once you're in the area of the Herridge Chalet. Expect about a 10k round-trip hike from P16.
I was out caching in the area with some friends, and decided to place a cache in the area, for those of you familiar with the "Roasted Power Bar" story that took place here one winter. This being a summer story, we had brought along frozen bottles of water which would thaw as we hiked the trails, giving us ice cold drinks with which to keep refreshed. If you happen to be vertically challenged, bring a tall friend along. Park at P16. N45 34.326 W075 53.115 Follow Pine Road trail toward Herridge. Take first trail on left(2km). Take next trail on left(1 km).
The chalet, and the trail leading to it are maintained by the NCC, and so are kept in pretty good condition. So, bring lots to drink, and enjoy the hike. P.S. power bars wouldn't be a bad idea either...
