Ubicado en la ciudad de Quintero a 160km aprox de Santiago, en la llamada puntilla Sanfuentes. Queda a escasos 11 msnm. Es un baño en el pacífico.
Located in Quintero (160km North from Santiago) in "puntilla sanfuentes". It's about 11 meters osl. It's an amazing bath in the Pacific seashore.
Para llegar recomiendo tomar la ruta 5 norte, la salida puchuncaví-nogales y luego atravesar ventanas hasta Quintero. El caché es una caja plástica roja pequeña, con tapa transparente. Está en plena ladera, en un recoveco propio del terreno, tapado con algunas ramas. Las coordenadas debieran ser precisas suficientes. Busca con paciencia. El caché tiene: una pelota de golf, un llavero, un flyier de Canopy Termas de Puyehue, una moneda del Perú, una concha de caracol marino, un chinche amarillo, una bitácora y un lápiz con mickey busca tesoros.
También coloqué una tarjeta de las Cabañas Nautika (muy cercanas: S32º47.085 W071º32.360) donde puede pasar a contarles historias a Karen y Miguel quienes me ayudaron a esconder este tesoro y estoy seguro que los recibirán muy bien www.nautika.cl
Hartas cosas para un pequeño caché, pero siempre hay algo más.
To reach Quintero I suggest taking Ruta 5 heading North until exit "Punchuncaví-Nogales". Then pass thru "ventanas" and get into Quintero. The cache its a little red plastic box with transparent cover. It's in plain ground, into the bushes, covered by some leaves. Coordinates should be precise enough. Search patiencelly. The cache contains: a golf ball, a keyholder, a Puyehue Therms Canopy flyer, a coin from Perú, a sea shell, a yellow wall clip, a logbook and pencil with mickey mouse treasure finder.
I've also placed a "Cabañas Nautika" (kind of hostal) card wich are very close: S32º47.085 W071º32.360, there you may visit Karen and Miguel and tell them stories. I'm sure the will receive you gratefully www.nautika.cl
Many things for a small cache, but there's always something left.
