Geocache Description:

When a fire destroyed a store in downtown Oxford the city commissioners decided a park would be a nice addition to the area. This cache is located in that new park. The park is easily accessible from Main street or the parking lot located behind the park. Should be an easy find, nothing needs to be disturbed to find this cache.

If you walk to the rear of the park and look northeast you will see the Granville County Historical Society Museum. Well worth a visit if your time permits.
