Geocache Description:

This earthcache is located in the Jones-Keeny Wildlife Management Area near Dawson Springs, KY.

The Jones-Keeney Natural Bridge is the creation from years of erosion. The current stream at one time had flowed over the top of the formation, but now flows underneath. This occurred due to years of erosion to the softer rock below the surface creating a pocket which expanded from the water's movement. Through time, the water found joints in the rock's surface which continued the process of eroding the rock underneath until you got the current span that we see today.

1. You must e-mail the height measurement or give your best estimate of the height by using something of known value (i.e. your height, walking stick length)
2. Post a picture of the natural bridge (with or without you in it) to get credit.
