Explore the basics necessary to enjoy this eco-sport including
suggested equipment, GPS units, the website, how to search for a
cache and types of caches. You will enjoy the thrill of the hunt
but the real discovery is the countless locations of natural beauty
and historical interest you will find that you never knew existed.
The group will be indoors at the Greenfield City Hall, Common
Council Chambers for a PowerPoint presentation that should last
about 1 hour.
After the presentation, head over to Konkel Park (transportation
on your own) for "hands on" practice locating several temporary
caches and regular caches in this park (dress for the weather).
If you already own a GPS unit, please bring it (not required).
Program fee is per family, children are welcome to attend with a
registered adult.
Advance registration is required, please download and
submit this form to the Parks & Recreation office prior to the

The Greenfield Parks & Recreation office is open from 9 AM
until 6PM, Monday through Friday. Registration forms can be faxed
with credit card payment. An after hours drop box is also
available.
