No matter how they say it, the start is the most important part of a Bobsled Run. Did you ever wonder how the Athletes learn how to get a Bobsled started? This cache is located near the Training Site for the US Athletes who are learning the sport of Bobsledding.
Also nearby is the Ski Jumps, 1980 Olympic Torch, Horse Show Grounds, Airport, Athletic Fields and Running Track. You can watch various sporting events all Summer long. All is normally free except during the Lake Placid/I Love New York Horse Shows that run the last week of June and first week of July. In the Fall Gliders from the nearby Airport grace the Sky with their Aerobatic Maneuvers.
