Geocache Description:

This cache may not be accessible after a heavy snow or rain but should be available most of the year round. It is not wheel chair accessible.

This cache is off the Hayden Trail trailhead around Lake Atwood. If you want to follow the trail to the cache you can start at the suggested parking near the trailhead. Those coordinates are 39' 48.850 N 101' 02.713 W. Although this is not necessarily the shortest route. You will be searching for a standard size ammo can container which consists of a log book, writing instruments, disclaimer and numerous items for trade. This is a beautiful area with lots to see so if you have time I would suggest you walk the mile or so trail. They even have a large playground area near the parking. The only thing I saw that this lake was lacking at the time I placed the cache was water. And needless to say, fish since there wasn't any water. Please rehide cache so it fits solidly and completely covered since this is a high traffic area. Happy Caching
