"Turmpeilung" soll bedeuten, daß es gilt, den Punkt zu finden, wo zwei Türme genau in einer Linie hintereinander liegen.
Bei "Turmpeilung kirchlich" geht es darum, den Turm der Mauritius-Kirche in Holzgerlingen so hinter dem Turm der St. Blasius-Kirche in Altdorf zu sehen, daß die Spitzen möglichst gut zur Deckung kommen. Im Bild "Peilung" braucht der Betrachter nur noch wenige Schritte nach rechts, dann hat er den Punkt genau.
Es gibt tatsächlich nur einen Punkt, auf dem diese Peilung richtig funktioniert und der mitten auf einem asphaltierten Weg liegt. Ihr braucht die Koordinaten dieses Punktes, um die des Final zu berechnen.
Dieser Schatz hat drei Sterne für die Schwierigkeit. Schwierig ist eigentlich nur, dass man Karten lesen, sich gut orientieren und seine Route selber planen können muss (eine "geführte Runde" wird hier nicht geboten 
) Ausserdem müßt Ihr aus zwei möglichen Lösungen die plausiblere auswählen. Oder Ihr müsst maximal zwei Punkte nach dem Final absuchen.
Zur Fortbewegung: Das Dreieck, das durch den Referenzpunkt dieses Listings (N 48° 36.956´, E 9° 1.395´), den Peilungspunkt und den Final Punkt aufgespannt wird, hat einen Umfang von ca. 9 km. Ein Fahrrad ist natürlich ideal (Überraschung! ). Aber an diesem Radler Schatz sollen auch Autofahrer und Motorradfahrer Freude haben.
"Turmpeilung" ("Tower bearing") requires you to find the spot from where two towers are seen in exactly the same direction, one behind the other.
"Turmpeilung kirchlich" ("Tower bearing ecclesiastical") is about getting to see the tower of the Mauritius-Kirche in Holzgerlingen directly behind the St. Blasius-Kirche in Altdorf superimposed such that their tops seem to become one. In picture "Peilung" this viewpoint is almost reached, just a few more steps are needed to the right.
You would not believe it, but there is exactly a single spot, where this superposition works and where you are on a nicely paved path. You will need the coordinates of this point as input to determine the coordinates of the final.
I have rated the difficulty of this cache with three stars. Difficult is merely that you need to correctly read maps and to find your way without any help (we do not attempt to provide anything close to a "guided tour" here). Another challenge is that you will need to pick the more plausible result out of two possible solutions. Or you will need to visit two potential final spots.
Transportation and estimated effort: The triangle built by the reference point of this listing (N 48° 36.956´, E 9° 1.395´), by the spot of superposition and by the final has a circumference of ca. 9 km. A bycicle is perfect of course (what else would you expect from "Radler"? ). But I did my best to make this cache enjoyable also for hikers with a car or motorcycle.
