Placed at Rocky Fork Lake on a small island about .3 miles offshore
This cache is placed in memory of all the Ohio servicemen and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in Iraq fighting to make the world a safer place for all of us.The main feature of the cache is the many small American flags among the contents. When you visit please take one for yourself. They are not trade items, so you don’t have to put anything in the cache for them, just take one for yourself to keep. If the cache runs out of flags I will restock it as long as it is there.The other items in the cache include a multi tool,plastic soldiers,lanyard,caribiner,water proof match box that would make a good micro cache container, and some other swag to fill it up.
The cache box itself is a medium size Tupperwear container.
Also in the cache is Tweetie T.B. and a yellow Jeep T.B.JPB7NK

Since this facility belongs to all of us let’s do our part the keep it clean. The usual practice of cache in,trash out is a given.
The difficulty level for the terrain is based on the fact that there is a water barrier. The cache is on a small island about .3 miles off shore. You will need a boat to get out there.
I used a small rowboat and this worked out very well. It took about 15 minutes .The best place to park is at n39 11.568 wo83 26.142 There is boat ramp there.
The South and West side of the island have several good places to land. The best place is N 39 11.539 W083 26.444 This will put you about 150 ft from the cache.
There is no serious bushwhacking but there are some weeds so you may want to wear long pants.
