Geocache Description:

Cache is a 1 quart clear plastic container. It is a fairly easy hike, except for the last 6 feet.

I grew up picnicking, swimming, and boating at this lake. There are some pretty views from the picnic areas up the hill. Start at 39* 05.804 083* 01.213 and walk up the abandoned road. The old pavement is broken in spots, so those pushing strollers use caution. The last six feet of the way are the toughest and not intended for small children, but an adult could retrieve the cache and return it after the little ones plunder it. It was full of kid goodies when hidden. Of course, I am saying the above to keep anyone from blaming me for their kid getting hurt. When I was a kid, I got into far worse areas and Mom was never the wiser! Have fun and be careful!! Oh, and the park closes at dark.
