Hope - the village. Faith - the Church. Charity - the easiness of
the cache.
There has been a church in Hope since the twelfth century. The
original wooden church was replaced by the stone building in the
late thirteenth century. The north nave was added around 1500 and
the tower some years later again. Extensive restoration took place
in 1859 and again in 1885. The church is currently dedicated to
Saint Cynfarch and Saint Cyngar. The co-ordinates are for the road
at the side of the church where you can park. To find the cache,
walk around to the back of the church where you will find a bench.
Look to the tree on your right hand. The cache is a film cannister
containing the log, a pencil, a fist finder certificate and a
pewter owl. Good luck!
