Geocache Description:

This is a Multi-cache with a regular size cache at the final stop.

This cache is easy enough for all ages. The two stages of this cache take you to places that promote two VERY different people involved in the history of Odessa TX. The first stop is a Historical Marker that has been hidden for the last 20+ years or so. I was not even aware of this marker until a friend of mine pointed it out. It tells a story about a man named William C. Sublett. You will soon find out that Mr. Sublett is part Hero and part folklore. After you get done with this cache, you might find it interesting to "Google" Mr. Sublett. This will provide an even more in depth story. The second stop is to a place that is an old addition at a new location in Odessa. There is a number of Historical Markers at this place. Take the time and enjoy all this place has to offer. The third and final stop is a nice place to unwind. Be mindful of Muggles as they are everywhere, especially on the weekends. Good Luck and Enjoy!! Most of the route can be driven. Items left - wooden nickels, pins, turtles, and many other things. A FTF item, log book, and pen.
