Fried Egg and Chilli Chutney Sandwich.
This Cache is along an the old railway track that ran from Anmouth Station to Anwick. Used as footpath and a cycle way it is never busy with people.
There was talk of reopening this as a railway but this has not happened yet.
The Cache is in a Metal container screw top Small hidden just off the track.
There are several ways to get to the Cache. Take a map to work out where to park.
If you head from the Cache towards Alnwick for a short distance you will cross a Viaduct with a splendid view of the railway viaduct which is the London to Edinburgh main line.
The Society is dedicated to the re-instatement of the 3 mile former BR branch line from the East Coast main line at Alnmouth to the County town of Alnwick, seat of the Duke of Northumberland.
