A straight-forward Midwestern forest hide in a wooded area of a city park.
A cache went muggled in the woods earlier and I felt this was too nice a place not to have a cache. I never would have found it were it not for the origional cache located here.
The Cachetainer is a large cammoed Lock 'n Lock. Getting more popular in these parts as they are now available at Target and WalMart. This one is almost a gallon. They are 100% H2O proof and perfect for our purpose. The idea of an easy walk and a large container will appeal to many like myself who enjoy hnuting for more than a log sheet and a broken pencil.
T3 stands for "Treasure Trove of Trinkets". As of today, Jan 10, 2006, the eyeseeit family has found just over 400 hides. From each one we have taken a trinket. We have amassed a large collection of what we refer to as "cache Trash". This is our way of getting these goodies back out into cache circulation and out of our house. We enjoy the collecting and the treasure finding aspect of caching and are happy to be placing a cache that will delignt small cachers with a vast array of goodies. You will see by the contents we offer the best trinkets out there!
Please use great cae when hunting, retrieving and replacing this hide as a cache had been lost to the muggles in this park already. Remember to hide the cachtainer better than you found it.
Please sign the log book. There is plenty of room for TB's here too.
Many cachers have made references to all of the trash in the area of the cache. Things were bnot too bad when the cache was placed and I do not think cachers would be trashing the location...it is not our style...please trash out at least one piece when you visit. Based upon the popularity of this hide we can make a difference here pretty fast. This cache gets found approx 3X or more per week.
