Geocache Description:

Being a puzzle cache, this cache is not at the posted coordinates. Please read on to locate the true cache location.

Missouri Delorme Challenge

This cache was inspired by a similar cache in Kansas placed by the Rattling Crew. The Delorme Gazetteer Series of maps is published for all 50 states. These maps are available at truck stops, travel plazas, book stores and directly from Delorme. To successfully complete this cache you will need access to the Missouri version. If you would rather not purchase your own copy of the book, it is available at nearly all public libraries. Each map book has an index page that shows which section of the map is on which page of the book. The final cache coordinates can be claimed by finding a cache in each section/page of the map. A section can also be "claimed" by hiding a cache in that section.

There are a couple of things need to be clarified after recent shortcuts.

1. All caches must be in the state of Missouri. This is The Missouri Delorme Challenge after all.

2. The page is defined by the blue line near the edge. If a cache falls on more than one page, it only counts on the page where it falls within the blue line.

After you have accounted for all sections of the map, please post a note here and you will be contacted with the final coordinates.

This adds up to no less than 58 caches. Have fun and be safe.

Steve and Mary decided to finish this all off in one 3 day weekend. Great Job. We hope to do this ourselves soon.

Congratulations Steve and Mary!
