Geocache Description:

The listed Coordinates is for the White Pine Camp.
Due to the Camp and surrounding lands being private the cache is at the location listed below. You will need to gather information to find the final hideing spot.

White Pine Camp, built in 1907, served as President Calvin Coolidge's Summer White House from July 7-September 18, 1926. He went from Washington, DC to Gabriels by train then on to the Camp. During his stay he spent time here exploring the Adirondack Forest Preserve, the precursor to the present Adirondack Park. He also attended Sunday services at the Presbyterian Church in Saranac Lake.
From 1949 to 1983, under Paul Smiths’ College ownership, the camp experienced serious abuse and neglect. The original Recreation Building burned in 1966. The old Caretakers Cottage burned in 1975. The Camp spent 10 years in receivership and the 35 acre site was taken over by it’s current owners in 1993. Since that time they have endeavored to return the Camp to it’s former glory.
White Pine Camp is one of the Adirondack Park's most special places. The setting on a secluded point on two-mile-long Osgood Lake is breathtaking. Six cabins sit on a ridge overlooking the lake about 70 feet from the shoreline. Each has a porch, where you can relax, read, or dine as the setting sun creates magical lighting effects as it filters through the stately red pines. Two other cabins sit a bit farther back from the lake, with a partial view of the water through the trees. One sits in a lovely setting surrounded by lawn and woods, a short walk to the lake.

You will need the following information to find the cache.
Street address of the Presbyterian Church in Saranac Lake. CA Church Street
White Pine Camp sign clearence BD Feet
Street Number of the White Pine Camp 4DE White Pine Rd

N 44 26.ABB
W074 14.DCE

NOTE: I just found out the Street Address listed in the Verizon Phone Book is not the correct address for the Presbyterian Church. It is the number Church Street prior to the recent address changes for 911 system. The correct address is on the Church's sign in front of the building itself.
