Atop 49 Degrees North Ski Hill on Chewelah Peak
Around these parts 5773' of elevation gets you a pretty good view and this cache location is a good example. Cache is going to be covered with snow from mid November until mid to late May.
You can park at the lodge of 49 Degrees North Ski Resort and hike up the hill but boy is it steep. To the tune of about 1850' of elevation gain in less than 1 mile.
An easier hike is to park off Forest Service Road 4342 @ N48.17.313 W117.35.274 and hike up spur road 600. It's about a 1 1/4 mile hike with a more manageable 680' of elevation gain
