Seeing a new cache that still hadn't been logged as of 2230, and in
Rexy's general neck of the woods - we decided to make a go for the
FTF. We also decided, since we were here and this was quite the
adventure, that we'd deploy a couple caches.
On the way up, I spotted a location that looked like it would
provide suitable camo for the container I had ready to deploy. As
we looked off in that direction - a couples of pairs of eyes stared
back at us, unblinking.
"What are those?", Rexy asked. I didn't know. "Wanna go check it
out?" I asked. We slowly started heading that way - and before we'd
closed half the distance, two deer went bouncing off down the
hillside. Whew!
On our way back down the hill, we double-checked coords, deployed
the cache, and I snapped a few photos.
Day or nite, you should have no trouble finding this cache - less
than 100' off trail, and right on your way to a couple others.
