The coordinates listed above are bogus. They only give the general
area of the cache. This cache contains a variety of significant
challenges... thus the high difficulty rating. It is for daylight
hours only… as dictated by park rules. All stages are within the
bounds of a park or on public land. Don’t stray onto private
property.
The first challenge will get you on your way. It involves code
breaking. I have provided two independent puzzles for this first
stage. Both puzzles will eventually yield the same location… so if
you find one too difficult, try the other:
Puzzle 1: 25EE EQ.OYO 2IQ TI.EYE
Puzzle 2: Clues to puzzle 2 are hidden in a couple of my
favorite caches. The clues are again in the form of a code, but one
that is much simpler to crack than the code shown in puzzle 1.
Stage 5: This stage is located near street parking. To make the
trip from stage 4 to stage 5 easier, use the bogus coordinates
listed above as a waypoint.
Stage 6 - The Final Stage: The cache is a standard ammo can. It
is hidden about 20ft from the trail… behind a fallen tree.
