On A Wing And A Prayer Multi-Cache
2ofHis: Sections of this trail have been bought up by private parties, making them inaccessable to the public. We have gone in, cleaned house, and are shutting this one down. Thanks for the fun times.

You will be walking a total of approximately 1.75 miles on a four-mile trail around the Wisconsin Rapids airport. This is a popular walking and biking trail, and you will encounter a variety of trail surfaces: paved, gravel, dirt, and a carpet of pine needles. If you are biking this trail, a "road cruiser" would probably not be advised; a hybrid or mountain bike would be better. This trail might be usable in winter as a X-country ski trail; we will find out, and update this description. We do encourage you to enjoy the entire trail; after you find the cache, of course!
To avail yourself of the hints for the first two stages of this multi-cache, you will need a copy of the New Testament of the Bible. The King James, New International, or New Revised Standard versions will work. We couldn't copme up with a Scriptural hint for Stage #3.
If you take the entire trail, be advised there are periodically-placed benches, but NO bathrooms or water availability.
Parking is available at N44 21.077 W089 50.602. The above coordinates are for the first stage, a camo'ed film canister. In this canister are the coord's for the second stage, another camo'ed film canister. This canister contains the coord's for the third stage, an ammo canister, containing various trading goodies. At times, you may find your GPSr doing the Hokey-Pokey due to tree cover, but the signal should be clear when you need it most. There is a special FTF prize of a CD by Sara Groves.
