The cache is a 1 litre plastic box containing the usual items for
swapping and is large enough for travel bugs.
To enjoy the walk up the river, suggested parking is near the
church or village hall in Harpford, (coordinates: N 50° 42.307 W
003° 17.381), the footpath starts just down the lane from here.
If you're in a hurry you can locate the cache much quicker from
Tipton St John.
If you’re lucky you might spot Kingfishers, Egrets,
Herons, Swans, Dippers or Sand Martins along the way.
Once you’ve found the cache you might like to continue
along the path to Tipton St John and reward yourself with a drink
at the Golden Lion, and then follow the signs back through the
lanes to Harpford.
This area is popular with dog owners, ramblers etc. so please
take the usual precautions if there are “muggles”
about.
