This cache is located at Abel Reservoir. Boat recommended but may
be accessible over rough terrain.
Note: This cache has a new container hence the rating
change.
Abel Reservoir is one source of drinking water for Stafford County.
This cache is one of two caches placed here the same day. If you
like to mix caching with kayaking you will enjoy Abel Reservoir.
You could also use a canoe or boat with electric motor. Plenty of
parking at 38°24.840N 077°29.778W. During your trek to find this
cache, there are rock formations begining at 38°24.406N 077°29.436W
and, lots of beaver lodges, one at 38°24.198N 077°29.356W. Fishing
also allowed but a license is needed.
