This is the first of what is destined to be an annual event to
clean up the Soddy Gorge.
We will be meeting at the trailhead of the Soddy Creek Segment of
the Cumberland Trail on the corner of Hotwater Rd. and Sluder Lane.
@0900 EST. From there we will work our way down Hotwater Road and
clean up at the pulloffs along the way down to where the trail will
cross the road. Wear sturdy hiking boots or shoes and if you have a
favorite pair of gloves, bring them too. Gloves and trash bags will
be provided, as well as snacks and bottled water; at the conclusion
(12:30), there will be a drawing for door prizes. Hope to see
everyone there!
