Geocache Description:

This cache is one of a series placed in and around the University of Tennessee campus. We have permission from UT for these to be placed. The series is best done on foot or on a bicycle as parking WILL NOT usually be readily available, especially on home football weekends. On weekends, (non football) after 5pm weekdays, and holidays, you should have no trouble finding a close parking spot.

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DISCRIPTION BEFORE HEADING OUT TO FIND ANY CACHES IN THIS SERIES!

Depending on when you arrive at this spot, you might see everthing from birthday wishes, sorority pledge congrats, political statements, athletic inspiration, and sometimes just "stuff" nobdody could figure out, painted on for all to view and sometimes ponder the meanings.

The layers and layers of paint that have been applied are very evident, even thought it is (believe it or not) sandblasted from time to time to make way for more paint.

I encourage everyone who finds this one to post a picture of what is painted there at the time of your find. You can easily post a picture without giving away exactly where the cache is hidden and it will make for an interesting tabloid of the many moods of college students these days.

If you come after 5pm on a weekday, during school breaks, or on the weekends, you may park in any commuter or staff lot, unless otherwise posted, or an event/home football game is going on.

Feel free to email us prior to your arrival and we will be happy to give you advise on where to park

DO NOT park in any of the Staff or Commuter parking lots if you come before 5pm, M-f. You WILL get a ticket. (trust me on this, I used to be a ticket writer here and them people is vicious!)

If you come up empty, post a DNF, then email me for a hint.
