Mother's Offspring at Kingman Pond Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Schnapps: Alas, it is time to say goodbye to this cache... it had a good run: 145 finds! However, the town needs to do some major reconstruction work to the dam where it was hidden. Perhaps once the construction is finished, we'll hide another... but for now, we must say farewell...

Geocache Description:

The Mother of All Caches had another baby who flew the coop and headed eastward!!!

This plastic container originally came from one of the more unique caches we've ever found called "The Mother of All Caches" (GCPNTT) in the Berkshires. This offspring of Mother decided to settle in Mansfield, MA near a quaint little pond. The cache is hidden in a snow-friendly location, and is a fairly short distance from parking (N42 01.146 W71 13.145). You may encounter some poison ivy while arriving at the cache site, but the actual site is PI-free. We'll hold off on providing a hint unless we see evidence that people have difficulty.
