Who is Sinbad7Seas? And what is his treasure?
Sinbad7Seas is the locally used name of the legendary
Sinbad
the Sailor. Tales of his fantastic adventures are documented
in the Seven Voyages of Sinbad the Sailor found in
The Book of One Thousand and One Nights. He has also been
called Sindbad and Sindibad but you may refer to him simply as
Sinbad. Popular adaptions include The 7th Voyage of
Sinbad, The
Golden Voyage of Sinbad, Sinbad and the Eye of the
Tiger, Sinbad of
the Seven Seas for which I am named and the more recent
animation which my kids love, Sinbad: Legend of the Seven
Seas. I have many fond memories of these movies when I was
younger.
The legendary Sinbad was a great adventurer and storyteller. He
is the modern combination of Indiana Jones and Dirk Pitt. He has
travelled the world over amassing a great treasure which he has
handed down throughout the ages. This Sinbad has now hidden the
treasure in an area that even the legend would be proud of. Ragged
Mountain is harsh land full of steep cliffs, numerous ridges,
plenty of loose rocks, wildlife and vegetation. At the same time
you will be treated with some of the best views in the area.
Hanging Hills to the south, Rock Climbing to the west (N41 37.057
W72 49.408) as pictured above, Wassel Reservoir to the north (N41
37.440 W72 49.259) and Hartford to the East.
So what's in Sinbad's Treasure? The treasure consists of coins,
paper currency, casino chips, precious stones and gems, jewelry and
more collected in his travels around the world. The teeth of every
shark that Sinbad has slain throughout the ages are here too.
