emmett: It is time to finish with archiving my caches. I don’t want them listed on GC.com any longer. Very nice site, but very terrible treatment of cache owners. When time allows, I hope to modify this and publish it as a new cache on another site some day.

Geocache Description:

As the name suggests, this hunt was created to be kid friendly, with a relatively short round trip hike of about 3/4 of a mile and a very large final cache well stocked with some pretty good stash.

Unfortunately, the large container was often not rehidden well by finders and given its kid-friendly, close proximity to the trail, it was eventually muggled. A more modest sized, replacement container suffered a similar fate. As result, I put something smaller in its place, but with no stash.

This three-stage hunt can be done on its own, or if you are ambitious and have no kids in tow, you can do Callahan Extreme first and bypass the first stage of this hunt using coordinates provided in the Callahan Extreme final. (visit link)

Parking is located on Broadmeadow Road. There are two trails that connect to the parking lot but you do not want to take either of these. Instead, after you park, exit the lot onto Broadmeadow Road, turn left and walk to the next trailhead on the left at the coordinates below, just a short distance from the Callahan North Supply Station. Stage One is not far from the trailhead. The coordinates are provide at the top of this page. At stages one and two, you will be looking for a small plastic container with coordinates for the next stage.
