This cache is located near the outdoor classroom at Walhalla Middle School. THIS IS ON SCHOOL PROPERTY, PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION BELOW. I have received permission from the school's principal. There is a gravel trail leading to the outdoor classroom. I ranked the difficulty this because of the time restriction.
I placed this cache as part of Mr. Holliday's geocaching class project that I am doing with my Math and Social Studies classes this year. Each class has placed a travel bug in the cache. Each travel bug has the same goal, so it is competition between classes. The winning class gets a cache named for them in the spring. The cache is in an ammo box located on school property. Again, I have received permission to place this cache here. I am part of the faculty at this school. *********PLEASE VISIT THIS SITE BEFORE OR AFTER SCHOOL HOURS (7:00a.m.-4:00p.m.) This will prevent someone mistaking you for an intruder. IF YOU DO VISIT DURING SCHOOL HOURS, SIGN-IN AT THE FRONT OFFICE. I HAVE TOLD OUR STUDENT RESOURCE OFFICER ABOUT THE GEOCACHE AND HE HAS CONTACTED THE CITY POLICE. IF YOU ARE QUESTIONED BY THE AUTHORITIES SHOW THEM YOUR COPY OF THIS DESCRIPTION. ********* You can contact the school at (864) 638-4575 if you have any questions, ask for Mr. Holliday. The cache is located in a wooded area in front of the school. The orginal cache contents are as follows:
