Along the Appalachian Trail.
Placed while on a Boy Scout day hike. Stopped here to take a breather after hiking down from Indian Grave Gap. Some soaked their tired feet in the cool water. Container is a small (4 x 4 x 3 inch) snap lock plastic container, camo covered. Has a log sheet, short pencil and a few small item for trade. Room for more small items and maybe small TBs. Unless the river is very high, you shouldn't get wet retrieving the container.
Estimated elevation is 1986 ft.
