This multi-cache takes you past the homes of two of Houston’s most famous athletes before finding the actual stash.
In keeping with the theme of the cache you could make it a brisk walk of 3.8 miles round trip… or not.
It is recommended you park at the end of the street past the first waypoint and walk to the second waypoint. They are very near each other, but a great distance by car.
Take note of Mary Lou’s street number. Calculate the coordinates of the second waypoint using deg.dec format of Mary Lou's coordinates and her street number as follows. To get the latitude, divide the street number by 100 and use the integer (drop the numbers to the right of the decimal). Subtract this integer from the 6 digit decimal part of Mary Lou's latitude. To calculate the longitude, subtract 767 from the street number and divide the result by 4. Subtract this number from the 6 digit decimal portion of Mary Lou's longitude. All coordinate values are in deg.dec format.
These new coordinates are for the second waypoint, Roger's driveway. Continue to use deg.dec format. Calculate the cache coordinates by adding 17070 to the 6 digit decimal portion of Roger's latitude and add 4403 to the 6 digit decimal portion of Roger's longitude. Say goodbye to Roger’s dogs. They love visitors but unfortunately do not sign autographs. Proceed to the cache.
The container is a large perscription bottle and contains a pen, log, and small trinkets. The cache is completely concealed. You may need the hint.
