A Walk at the Park/Farm Traditional Cache

Next to the trail, in the park located nextdoor to Chaires Elementary School.
This cache is located in the Chaires-Capitola Community Park on Chaires Cross Road. This park was once a farm, and is now a nice place for a picnic or to play some tennis, basketball, or baseball. There are beautiful trails where you can do some hiking through the back 30 (or so) acre wooded portion of the park. The park also boasts a nice little community center, which is where you will find the public restrooms and water fountains.
There is also a micro cache in the developed portion of this park, but the park cried out for a full sized cache deeper in on the trails.
The nature trail is unmarked, thus quite deserted most of the time, so there should be little worry about Muggles. The trail follows the perimeter of the park, so it provides a good walk despite the fairly small size of the park.
The cache is placed deep in the park (approximately a 1/2 mile walk on the nature trail from the trailhead located at N 30 26.232, W 084 07.585). In fact, it is about as far back in the park as you can go, and still be in the park. When you get close to the cache, you will understand why we placed it where we did. The spot is quite unique, and very beautiful! The cache is in an ammo can, and contains a log and some farm-related trade items in honor of the fact that the park was once a farm.
