Geocache Description:

The cache has a good view of a hilly meadow with a stream running through it. Early morning fog may cloud it's view.

You can see the march of progress in the town of North Andover. Begun as an agricultural village around the Old Center it was noted for sheep and farms. Later the industrial revolution appeared in the form of water powered mills. The newest phase returns to growing things -- homes and housing developments and the conversion of the old mills into condos and offices.

This cache overlooks a hay pasture owned by the town. In the winter you can see cross country tracks, in the spring and summer, large rolls of hay. In the fall, the woods turns red, yellow and orange. I think my cache will be happy here.

Park on the "bridge" at N42 40.123' W071 04.031. The official entrance is just across the road, a split in the wall wide enough for a tractor and hay wagon.

In June of 2016 I replaced the damaged container with a water-proof one. To open, squeeze the top and bottom and lift the bottom of the latch. To close, squeeze again, position the top of the latch and press down. Because the container is smaller than the previous one I removed the bottle of water and the two (broken) yellow pencils.

WARNING: The site is now covered with Poison Ivy. Use extreme caution when searching in the brush or search in the winter, spring and fall.
