This is a regular cache located just off the road between Mt. Lemmon and Peppersauce Canyon.
Woodcutter and Companions needed to get out of the city. Sneakiekittie needed to study and wanted us out from underfoot and we wanted to go somewhere cooler so we headed up Mt. Lemmon. Did the cache TucsonTop and while heading back down we noticed the road by the Fire Station down to Peppersauce Canyon outside of Oracle. The sign at the road says 4 wheel drive recommended but the road looked alright to us. We have a Toyota Matrix, high clearance but not 4 wheel drive. So whenever roads seem to say we shouldn't go...we just seem to have the inclination to want to drive down them. So we drove for a ways until Woodcutter said, "Pull over up there."
We got out and walked about and what did we find but a swing! A wonderful, fun, giant swing that we all had to play on. After a bit we went looking for a good place to leave a cache. Then we just had to come back and play on the swing again. Coordinates for the swing are: 32N 27.082 and 110W 45.034. There is good parking close to the swing. We hope it stays for you to have fun on it too.
