Geocache Description:

This Cache is located in Gunnersbury Park, which is close to Acton, Chiswick and Brentford.The A4 and M4 are close by and the nearest undderground is Acton Town.

This is a lovely park which used to be privatly owned and has a lot of history which can be traced back to the 17th century, it's worth reading the information boards which are dotted about. The Arch is part of the Large Mansion, the present house was built in 1802 and then extended in 1816, it now houses the Gunnersbury museum which is worth a visit if you would like to learn more. The cache is a plastic 35mm film container which is held in it's hiding place by a length of fishing line, you need to locate the fishing line and pull the cache out. There is no pencil so you will have to bring your own. This is not a 24hr cache as the park closes depending on the time of year. There is Parking just off Popes Lane at N51 29.979 W000 17.483.
