Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the above coordinates. These coordinates represent the suggested parking for this cache. You seek an ammo can filled with Wally World & Dollar Store toys in the Brick Yard Slough Tract of the Lake Monroe Conservation Area near Osteen Fl.

This cache is part two of my simpleton puzzle series, which I’ve created in an ironic salute to local geogeniuses whose puzzles have left me drooling and glassy eyed, staring helplessly at my computer. This cache is dedicated to HiddenRock, the undisputed master of the brain cramping puzzle. For examples of his evil genius, check out “HiddenRock's Favorite Recipe” GCNNNK and “Kestrel Trap” GCKQA9. Don’t ask me for hints on these two, cuz I haven’t a clue how to solve them. Just looking at “Kestrel Trap” makes my head hurt.

Did y’all ever watch that TV show called “Star Gazer” on PBS? Jack Horkheimer, the star of the show, is also the Executive Director of the Miami Space Transit Planetarium, a job which he has held for over 25 years. For those of you that have never had the pleasure of watching the show, Jack would take you on a nightly visual voyage across the sky, teaching you about the planets and stars. Jack, a resident of Pinecrest, Florida since 1964, had his tombstone engraved a while back, to be used when he finally passes from our world. His tongue in cheek humor is evident in his epitaph:
“Keep Looking Up was my life's admonition. I can do little else in my present position”

Just south of the parking coordinates lies a large pasture. This pasture is one of my favorite star gazing locations. This cache is intended to be done at night, but only because of the brilliant view that the night sky offers in this area. There is no requirement to do this at night. There are no reflectors to help guide you to the cache, so if’n y’all want to do this during daylight hours, you won’t hurt my feelings, but you’ll be missing out on one of the greatest shows that Nature can provide.

Because I’m an old, lazy fat guy, the hike from the parking area is relatively short, less than two miles round trip. Bring your telescope, or a good set of binoculars and enjoy the show. This cache placed by permission of the St. John’s River Water Management District. A special permit is required for cache placement on SJRWMD property, so please tread lightly. Take only pictures, (and swag), leave only footprints. Go to (visit link) for details concerning this property.
