Geocache Description:

This is our first hidden cache. Hope you enjoy hunting it as much as we enjoyed hiding it. It is located near the Howard County Veterans Memorial.

We've place a small camouflaged thermos bottle near the Memorial. Be sure to grasp the weary heroes hand. He represents all those from Howard County who have lost their lives in war. Please read the poem at the base of the statue. This is how we decided on the name for the cache. We wish to thank the Park Superintendent(Mr. Smith), and the president of the Howard County Veterans(Mr. Causey)for letting us hide this cache.
