TO get to this cache you will need A) swimsuits or B) a boat or C) Snowshoes...depending on the time of the year you seek this one out! There is a public boat landing. You might have to ask some locals how to get there if you are unfamiliar with the area. The difficulty comes in getting there- since you really cannot drive or walk there easily (even in winter) but once near the cache, the terrain is easy enough for anyone, young or old, to walk on.
You will be looking for a small pill container, it is well hidden but should be easy to find by any inquisitive mind. The location of this cache is long on history. Take some time to read the markers and look at the pictures which detail this history of this location. I can see the cache location from our family cottage, We've lived (summers) on these lakes for over 25 years, but I never knew the history of this location. There is a picnic table (a GREAT place for a lunch or snack!!), basketball hoops, and two shuffleboard courts. Please trash out any litter you have or find. Fires are not allowed. This place is a gem! To get credit for this cache, you must e-mail the name of Batman's favorite poet which is written on something inside the canister. Feel free to leave something TINY to leave as trade if you want.
