This cache combines two of my favorite things, Geocaching and reading. I have left 6 books and a TB in the cache. The books are all registered on Bookcrossing.com, which can be linked to from GC. Click on Resources, then see Hitchikers. Bookcrossing (BXing) is similar in some respects to GXing. But is more random in nature, no GPS for one thing. Bxers place books in places where random people will pick them up and hopefully log on to BC and log the find. Releases are also reported on the site so you can go hunt for them. The books are then tracked just like TBs are. BXers can see where their books have traveled to, some have gone around the world.
If you take a book with BC stickers or notes on it please goto the BC site and log it. You are then free to do what you like with the book, it yours! I suggest that you read it, pass it on to someone else who will log it, return it to the cache or "release it into the wild". This last suggestion is what BXers call it when they leave a book in a public place for random folks to find. Lots of people get excited when they find a book thats free and they learn about BXing. It's as if you found a cache one day before you got hooked on GXing. BTW if you'er not a "reader" just pass it along, but do log it.
So, TAKE ONE-LEAVE ONE, or just sign the log. Feel free to leave books that aren't registered also, I or someone can register them or they will just be shared as people find the cache. Please use your normal GXing good taste when leaving books for others to find.
