A nice set of caches in West Lake Park in Davenport.
What a beautiful day today - Chester the Geocaching Dog would have loved it, but he was in Vinton! Parked at N41 31.585 W090 41.288. Took the fishing pole with, as I hiked some trails I'd never been on before. Geese on the lawn, round turtles laying on logs in the lake getting warmth from the sun, frogs jumping off the bank as I walked like they were in a synchronized water ballet. After placing the caches, I did a little bass fishing with a rubber frog lure - laughed myself silly as two frogs kept fighting over the lure as I hopped it along. Did they need glasses?
Bring something to write with and on!
Cache #1 is a plastic pill bottle at N41 31.530 W090 41.485 with coords for #2.
Cache #2 is an ammo box. I shot the coords numerous times, but the cover will make it tough. Best bet is to set your coords while at #1 where sky is open, and then just have at it - you'll find it, although not right away.
