Approx. 6.5 miles West of Timber, OR on Cochran Road. If you cross the Railroad tracks you've gone too far. There is a parking spot about .16 mile, 850 ft, from the cache, unless you have a 4WD with high ground clearance it is a walk from there.
The road to Cochran is a gravel road that most vehicles can navigate. Caution is advised in the winter months since snow can accumulate. It is not uncommon for the road to be impassable.
The cache is located near the ruins of an old building, probably the mill. The dense foliage makes it difficult to get a good lock for the GPSr.
Take a picnic lunch and enjoy the forest.
