Hide in Old Stage Park Traditional Cache

This cache is a pretty simple hike and a pretty simple hide. There is a great possibility for parents to enjoy this cache with their young kids. Wendy and I dont have any scamps (yet!), but we look forward to caches like this to take our children out on. There was plenty of wildlife out at 5pm when we went to place this cache: deer, jackrabbits, and too many birds to count.

Parking available at N 30 27.645, W 97 47.344 off Hymeadow. Hike is just over half-mile round-trip. The journey from parking to the cache is fairly level, well-beaten, and easy to follow.

I would _not_ recommend trying for this cache from Lake Creek Parkway.

I also noticed a couple of briar vines near the cache site; dont let you young ones run too wild or they risk some scratches.
