Geocache Description:

Near the intersection of Cacade Springs Road and Forest Road

Our son Joseph is currently stationed in Iraq. This cache is to honor him and all others serving our country. Joe is a dog handler and his dog’s name is Dak. Joe and Dak were transferred to Iraq from Fort Carson, Colorado in June 2005. They will be in Iraq for one year.
Dak is trained to alert for explosive, and is also certified for patrols.

Joseph was severly injured on Dec 11, 2005 when his HUMVE was destroyed by an IED. SFC James "Sean" Moudy and Joe's Military Working Dog "Dak" were killed in the explosion.
