Echternacher Stadt-Cache
Echternach, die älteste Stadt in Luxemburg, wurde im Jahre 698 vom irischen Mönch Willibrord gegründet. Die Stadt liegt 160 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel, hat 5200 Einwohner, liegt in einer Sauerschleife am Eingang zur kleinen Luxemburger Schweiz und im deutsch-luxemburgischen Naturpark.
Beachtet bitte folgende Hinweise:
- Wer der römischen Zahlen nicht mächtig ist, sollte diesen Cache nicht machen.
- Die Strecke ist ca. 2,5 km lang
- es sollten 90 min eingeplant werden
- Die kleinen Buchstaben sind zum Lösen der Aufgaben und die großen Buchstaben für den Final-Cache
Parken könnt ihr bei Koordinate: N 49°48.808' E 006°25.468'.
Hinweis: Luxemburger feiern gerne, daher könnte dieser Parkplatz an so manchen Tagen gesperrt sein!!! Ausweichmöglichkeiten gibt es dennoch genug.
Aufgabe 1:
Weiter geht es mit der Koordinate N 49°48.799' E 006°25.416'. Hier befindet sich oberhalb des Tores eine römische Zahl: _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ , die den arabischen Ziffern _ _ _ _ entspricht und für die Buchstaben a b c d steht.
Weiter geht es durch das Tor...
Aufgabe 2:
Quer über den Innenhof folgt ihr nun der Koordinate
N 49°48.(c+d / b+2 / b+2)' E 006° 25.(d+1 / c+1 / a)'. In der Nähe
befindet sich das "Lusthaus" vor dem ein Uni.-Prof. und Danteforscher steht.
In welchem Jahr _ _ _ _ erblickte er das Licht der Welt ? (Datum: 2. Stelle = e
und 3. Stelle = f).
Hinter dem Haus befindet sich ein Weg, dem ihr in Richtung NW folgt.
Aufgabe 3:
Bei Koordinate N 49°48.( f / e-2 / e-2)' E 006°25.( c+d-e / d-e+c / a )' findet ihr einen "Stein". Auf dem Stein ist eine Einheit namentlich genannt, welche den Fluß "Sauer" überquerte. Die Truppenbezeichnung beginnt mit einer Ordungszahl, deren 2.Stelle das g = _ ist.
Desweiteren braucht ihr den Tag der Überquerung für eure Final-Cache-Koordinate. D = _
Aufgabe 4:
Weiter geht es in Richtung N 49°48.( g+3 / f-b / e )' E 006°25.( a-1 / a / b )'. Die Anzahl der hiesigen Lampen geteilt durch 2 ergibt h = _
Folgt nun der Gasse in Richtung Osten bis zum "per l'amore"!
Hinweis: Auf dem Weg zum "per l'amore" kommt ihr am "Le petit Palais" vorbei, bei dem man günstig essen kann.
Aufgabe 5:
Dort angekommen geht es links weiter in Richtung
N 49° 48.( h+d / g / b-1 )' E 006° 25. ( d-1 / Null / h )'. Steige auf den höchsten Punkt und drehe dich auf 25°. Das angepeilte Gebäude wurde im Jahre _ _ _ _ Opfer einer Feuerbrunst . Die Quersumme der Jahreszahl - 11 ergibt i = _.
Aufgabe 6:
Der mächtige Torbogen des Haupteinganges dieses Gebäudes bei
N 49° 48.( e / i / Null )' E 006° 25. ( i / b / b )' wird durch Säulen auf beiden Seiten getragen. Die Anzahl der linken Säulen - 2 = A
Aufgabe 7:
Auf der Tafel bei N 49° 48. ( c+i / 7 / 0)' E 006° 25.( i+1 / 6 / 6 )' findet ihr eine Inschrift, die bei genauerem Hinsehen nicht nur Text, sondern auch römische Zahlen beinhaltet. Subtrahiert man die römische Zahl im letzten Wort der Inschrift mit 1 erhält man B = _
Aufgabe 8:
Eigentlich schaut man nicht durch fremde Fenster, doch in diesem Fall sei es gestattet einen flüchtigen Blick auf "Irmina" zu werfen, die bei
N 49° 48.( c+i / h / h )' E 006° 25. ( d / e / f )' auf euch wartet. Auch hier findet ihr eine römische Zahl von Bedeutung, denn die Summe der letzten 4 Ziffern ergibt C = _

The oldest town in Luxembourg, founded in 698 by St Willibrord, a monk of Irish origin. Situated at 160 meters above sea-level with a population of 5200 inhabitants. Located in the meander and valley of the Sauer and at the centre of the ‘Petite Suisse Luxembourgeoise’, which is part of the German-Luxembourg nature park.

Behind the building is a way. Follow the way in north-western direction.
Exercise 3:
Nearby coor. N 49°48.( f / e-2 / e-2)' E 006°25.( c+d-e / d-e+c / a )' you will find a "stone" and the name of an unit, which is written on the stone. In which year _ _ _ _ the unit had crossed the river "Sauer" ? The name of the unit begins with an ordinal number (2nd digit = g).
Besides you will need the day of crossing the river for your final-cache coordinate. D = _
Exercise 4:
Go on in direction N 49°48.( g+3 / f-b / e )' E 006°25.( a-1 / a / b )'. Here you will find lamps. How many lamps you can count? The result divided by 2 equals h = _ . Now follow the lane in eastern direction to "per l'amore"!
Exercise 5:
When you arrived "per l'amore" follow the way left to:
N 49° 48.( h+d / g / b-1 )' E 006° 25. ( d-1 / zero / h )'. There you climb to the highest point and turn to 25°. Your direction finder will show you a building which was the victim of flames in the year _ _ _ _ . The total of the digits of this number minus 11 equals i = _.

How many columns on the left side of the maingate at N 49° 48.( e / i / zero )' E 006° 25. ( i / b / b )' carry the huge archway of this building?
