Geocache Description:

This cache is located just off highway 313 in Radcliff.

Back a few years ago when the state still had a surplus at the end of the year, the state gave back some of the money to local communities for small projects. One such grant was awarded to the Vine Grove / Radcliff governments to purchase land and develop an industrial park. After some squabbling over funding the city of Vine Grove opted out which left Radcliff with the grant. Because Radcliff is more or less land locked or blocked by Fort Knox from major transportation routes an older Industrial Park to the North of the town has been sparsely occupied for many years. This time the city decided to located South of town on the newly built I 65 connector 313. I question this decision because you will see this is a prime location for anything but industry. The land is hilly and seems unsuited for industry. No mater what becomes of this park the entrance is grand, so you might as well stop by and see what you paid for.
