Another Mt. Raub cache. It's on top about 1/2 hour from Mt. Raub 1
Just when you thought you were done with Mt. Raub, someone has to
go and ruin it. Since I had to go up and check the existing four
caches on Mt. Raub, I decided to carry another cache up and place
it further down the ridge. You can hike in like I did by parking at
the bottom of Oak Hill Cemetery. If you hike in from the bottom of
the cemetery, you can expect a 2-mile hike. It's only uphill to Mt.
Raub 1 and the rest is more or less level. Just follow the road to
the antenna tower and turn right. Stay right at the Y in the road
and you'll walk right to it. It's not far off the road.
The cache is a 90-caliber ammo box filled with the usual. It has a
compass, compass/whistle, sports timer, biners, LED light,
screwdrivers, tool bits, camo gloves, a couple key chains, etc.
There is an FTF button and a set of unregistered TB tags for FTF.
At this time, do not 4-wheel to this
cache. It's been reported the roadway has been posted via Buchanan
Hollow.
