Geocache Description:

Fun cache near the Chieftan museum, one of the many jewels of Santaquin. Cache is small so no trading, and bring a pencil to sign the log. Use caution, and put it back in the exact place that you found it.

In the late 1980's my grandmother decided that Santaquin needed a museum to help preserve the history of this wonderful town. She and one of her good friends put many long hours and unknown amounts of money to get the museum up and running. My Grandparents, and many others have spent many hours making this one of the best places to visit in Utah. The museum was opened in 1990 and features many different rooms depicting the heritage of Santaquin. If you would like a tour they are by appointment only. After you find the cache go and visit one of Santaquin's gems.
